MARCH 28ERIC CHARTER PREPARES TITLE TWO
Mike Lee and Eric Carter were the final two competitors in the Southridge Winter Series’ six-race series. They achieved an 80 degree temperature. Trek-VWs Lee was not content with winning. He also had a goal to beat Eric Carter.
GENERAL LEE
Mike Lee lamented that he didn’t do it. However, it wasn’t his fault. Although last week’s heavy downpour had made the dirt more pliable, it also slow down riders. Riders struggled to control the conditions with sections of loose top soil and rain ruts. Unexpected heat did not help. I still beat my former best time, continued Mike. I completed the first lap in 3:38.
Mike is currently the hot reginal XC rider. He is determined to win this weekend’s Sagebrush Safari Cal State opener.

Eric Carter was also there this weekend and he won by five seconds. Cory Gustafson’s first attempt at the pro division was the final Winter Series event. Foes-Azonic rider Cory Gustafson has been taking names since he was a junior expert and is now training like mad – as evident by his win yesterday’s short track and overall Short Track Sport title. He wanted to test his riding skills head-to-head so he went out on Sunday.
