WHAT’S NEW AT HUTCHINSON
Marc Gullickson, North American Hutchinson Tires representative, gives us the inside scoop on the exclusive American tire testing team. It is called the Hutchinson Inflow Test Tribe. The Tribe will be officially launched at the Sea Otter Classic in Monterey on April 14, 2013. It consists of current and former professionals as well as testers representing 10 of the country’s top dealers.
Inflow will test the prototype and production Hutchinson tires, then relay information to Hutchinsons product development team in France.
Marc, who is the organizer and director for the Inflow Test Tribe, says that the Inflow program will make it easier to connect our designers with North American consumers. We will not only be designing tires using input from top riders in North America, but we will also be taking into account the perspectives of tire dealers who sell tires every day.
2005 Hutchinson Inflow Test Tribe includes Paul Thomasburg and Jurgen Beneke. Walker Ferguson, Steve Tilford. Steve Tilford, Geoff Gulevich. Arial Lindsey. Katrina Miller, Kevin Bartowski, Ken Bloomer. This group includes ex-professionals and current mountain bike racers.
The Inflow Test Tribe of Riders will ride Hutchinsons’ new rubber for the first time at the Sea Otter Classic. There, the Tribe will host a benefit party for IMBA with Mavic-Adidas Cycling in order to save California’s trails.
